Park City originally was founded as a mining town, but now is home to winter resorts.
Park City hosted many of the high-altitude events of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games at Salt Lake City. This post is filled with signs that point the way to all the Winter Olympic Games hosting cities around the world, stating both direction and distance. All hosts up to the next one (Sochi, Russia, in 2014) are included, though the 2018 host (decided several months prior, as Pyeongchang County, South Korea) has not been posted here yet.
